Off-site Installation
We offer offsite installation for customers in the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut), meaning we will drive to your location and install your headlights/taillights if they were purchased through us. Customers will be charged $90/hr for the installation, in addition we charge a fee for gas mileage .57 cents per mile. To set up an appointment email rob@xoticautomotivelighting.com. If a customer needs to change an appointment, make sure to notify us by email at least 48 to 72hrs. before your appointment date. Customers who fail to do so will lose their slot in line and may not be eligible for a new appointment for weeks or months, due to our hectic schedule. We offer manufacturer warranty on components used in our builds. For Labor, customers have a 45 day warranty period at no cost. Any repairs needed after 45 days will be charged to the customer. Note: we only offer off-site installation for Xotic Automotive Lighting customers only at this time. Have any questions contact us!
On-site Installation
On-site installation is available by appointment only and follows the same guidelines as off-site installation. Customers will not be charged gas mileage for on-site installation.
Paint warranty
Xotic Automotive Lighting offers custom paint warranty for 1 year from build date. Paint warranty covers chipping or flaking that may occur in the housing due to harsh weather conditions such as excessive heat. Customers needing to ship their lights in for paint repairs will pay shipping cost back to us. Xotic Automotive Lighting will cover return shipping to customers after repair is complete. After 1 year customers will pay all repair and shipping cost.
Aftermarket headlight/taillight warranty
Xotic Automotive Lighting excludes all aftermarket housings headlights/taillights from any warranty. Due to the fact that, aftermarket housings are manufactured with cheap plastics and components in comparison to OEM housings. Aftermarket housings are known to have spider cracked lenses, moisture or leak issues and even fitment problems on many vehicles. Cheaper doesn't mean better. Looking for the best guarantee, ship us OEM headlight/taillight housings.
Lens Restoration Warranty
All headlight/taillight lens restoration is backed by a 1 year warranty from Xotic Automotive Lighting. After one year customers will be charged if additional repairs are necessary. Customers are responsible for all shipping expenses except for repairs under warranty. In this case customers will cover shipping cost to us and Xotic Automotive lighting will cover return shipping to customer once the product has been repaired. Condensation Warranty
Though we have over a decade of experience in sealing headlights and taillights, we can't guarantee that condensation won't occur. However, we do our best to avoid it and have seen a significantly small number of cases on rare occasion. We've seen small things like bulb and cap misplacement or even faulty seals from the factory cause condensation. We do offer a 60 day warranty for condensation issues. Customers can ship their lights back to us (customer pays shipping) and we will cover return shipping to customer after repair is complete. After 60 days customers will be responsible for all shipping and repair cost. Outside interference, such as customers allowing another individual or company to make an attempt to repair headlights/taillights that were originally modified by Xotic Automotive Lighting will void the customer's warranty completely.
LED Product Warranty
Xotic Automotive Lighting carries an extensive line-up of LED accessories that can be used in custom headlights or taillights. For example, a customer may asks us to add in an LED switchback strip to be used as a DRL inside their headlight housing while we are modifying that housing. Heat from Halogen headlights may cause premature failure to that LED component since heat is a major cause of LED failure. Usually OEM manufacturers install fans and other accessories to help prolong LED life and usage. We do our best, however, we can't control how long LEDs will last as most of the products we carry are for universal applications and may function differently in various housings. RGB LEDs have a higher risk of failure compared to switchback LEDs (white/amber). All our LED products come with a manufacturer warranty which will be covered under the warranty period of the product, however, Xotic Automotive Lighting doesn't offer labor warranty on these products, customers will be charged labor if LED products need repair or replacement. If in doubt about an LED product being added inside your headlight housing we advise you to forgo that LED product.
